Air Cargo Service (Heavy shipments)

Risk Coverage

All parcels shipped through courier and cargo network are subject to transit risk. It is hence, advisable that all parcels are covered against the risk. We provide our clients two options through which they can cover the risk. One is to have their own insurance cover done and in return the courier company covers the risk under Freight on Value (F.O.V.) policy. For details, click here on the other hand, the client can opt for Risk Coverage through the courier company, and in this case the risk is covered under the Risk Charge policy. Thus ensuring complete peace of mind to its customers.

It is a provision from the company for the benefit of the customer to protect against the transit risks when the goods are not insured by consignor. The coverage is extended if customer chooses to avail the provision by paying the stipulated risk coverage charges/enhanced liability charges. This should not be construed as insurance cover as risk surcharge cover will have only a limited liability on the part of the company subject to the terms and conditions laid out.
